How to Judge the Quality of Pipe Laser Cutting Machine?

Ⅰ.  The introduction of the laser pipe cutting machine

For customers who are new, who are the first to test the laser tube cutting machine will require an on-site test. Alongside the speed of pipe cutting it is also important to consider what the quality is overall of cutting therefore, what are the main factors can be used to determine how good a laser pipe cutting machine as per requirements?

II.  What are the factors that affect an overall quality laser pipe cutting machine?

1. Burrs and cutting grains

As we know, in comparison to other equipment for processing, the advantages of a pipe laser cutting machine is that the cutting burr is tiny as well as the efficiency is high and the precision is excellent. Molten metal residues do not appear on the cutting surface as the laser cutting machine is cutting the pipe, but it is visible in the oblique lower part, which results in the gas inside the slag flowing out. This cannot completely blow away from the slag. It can form cutting slags and burrs following cooling. To fix this problem, pipe cutting machine makers typically reduce the speed towards the end of cutting to limit slagging and causing burrs. Therefore, when cutting a medium-sized plate the lower the amount of burr hanging slag that is left, that the machine is of higher quality.

2. The vertical degree

If the diameter of the pipe used to cut exceeds 10mm, the horizontality that the cut edge is located will become crucial. When cutting the laser head is moved from near too far in a straight line between top and bottom and the laser beam is dispersed as it moves further away. The closer it is to the target and the stronger the beam will become. As a result, a vertical deviation is generated and the lower the vertical deviation then the higher the machine's performance.

3. The roughness

Laser cutting pipe fracture surfaces will form vertical grains, and the depth of the grain is the determinant of how rough the surface will be. The more slender the grain the smoother the cutting surface. The roughness of the surface affects not just its appearance but also the amount of friction. In the majority of cases the grain depth of the cutting surface must be decreased, the more smooth the surface, the more effective.
