SLTL Group celebrates The National Technology Day on May 11
Sahajanand Laser Technology, India’s Laser Experts, celebrate The ‘National Technology Day’ to underline the country's historic achievements in the field of Science and Technology. The National Technology Day , coined by late Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, is observed on the 11 th of May and marks India’s significant progress and breakthroughs in the field of science and technology. It was on this day, that India conducted Operation Shakti or Pokhran II, when two fission bombs and one fusion bomb were detonated. On the 11 th of May, India also successfully test fired the nuclear missile Shakti -1 and the Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) was victorious in the last test-fire of the Trishul missile. The flight of Hansa-3, a foremost homegrown aircraft developed designed by the National Aerospace Laboratories, was witnessed on this day.
